Individual tickets and tables are now available for the 2023 Owensboro Business Hall of Fame luncheon this April. Inductees are the late Billy Joe Miles (1939-2018), Don Penn Moore III, and Tommy Thompson.
The luncheon, sponsored by German American Bank, is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on April 13 at the Owensboro Convention Center.
Seats are $100 each; tables of eight are $750, or $1,500 for priority seating plus an ad in the program. Proceeds benefit Junior Achievement of West Kentucky. Reservations can be made at westky.ja.org or by calling the JA office at 270-684-7291.
This year’s event theme is “saluting the best in business as we prepare the next in business.”
Inductees are nominated for their outstanding civic and business contributions to the Owensboro area and recognized for their business excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, courageous thinking and action, inspiring leadership, community impact, and service as a role model.
Junior Achievement of West Kentucky strives to empower young people to own their economic success. Their volunteer-based K-12 programs foster work and career readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire children to dream big and reach their potential.
