Samantha Taylor-Kaai has been promoted to chief operating officer of Audubon Area Community Services. She has more than a decade of experience in healthcare administration and has worked for Audubon Area since 2019.

“I am honored to step into this new role and continue working with our incredible team to serve the community,” Taylor-Kaai said. “Audubon Area Community Services is deeply committed to improving the lives of those who face poverty every day, and I look forward to expanding my work into the larger organization.”

Taylor-Kaai previously served as project director for the Audubon Area Community Care Clinic. In that role, she helped expand the organization’s healthcare services from one location to three standalone sites, 10 school-based clinics, and two mobile units.

Her efforts in securing grants and forming strategic partnerships led to the implementation of a healthcare clinic inside the Daniel Pitino Shelter. She also helped two clinic locations achieve Patient-Centered Medical Home status, improving patient care standards.

“Samantha has demonstrated extraordinary vision and leadership in expanding access to healthcare for our communities,” said Brandon Harley, CEO of Audubon Area Community Services. “Her ability to drive strategic initiatives and cultivate meaningful partnerships has been a game-changer for our organization. We are thrilled to see her take on this new role, and we have no doubt she will continue to elevate our mission and impact.”

In addition to her work with Audubon Area, Taylor-Kaai serves on multiple community and professional boards, furthering her efforts to improve healthcare access across Kentucky.

Audubon Area Community Services, based in Owensboro, is one of 23 community action agencies in Kentucky. The organization serves residents across multiple regions with a mission to help people in poverty reach self-sufficiency through services, advocacy, and partnerships.
