Coffee enthusiasts in Owensboro are in for a treat, as 7 Brew Coffee is set to open a new location at 4930 Frederica Street. The upcoming drive-thru coffee stand will be located next to Take 5 Express Oil Change, in front of the former Towne Square Mall site.
Tenant Representative Casey Smallwood of SRS Real Estate Partners shared the news in a LinkedIn post on Thursday morning, writing, “Raise your coffee cups, Owensboro! A new 7 Brew Coffee is crafting up something exciting and it’s coming your way soon – Get ready to kickstart your coffee revolution!”
Brandon Sebald, owner of 7 Brew Owensboro, said the company anticipates the stand opening this summer. Sebald shared the following statement via email:
The state of Kentucky has been so welcoming to 7 Brew in various cities from Louisville to Bowling Green. When we were looking for our next city to cultivate kindness in the state, Owensboro was a great fit as it’s an actively growing city with both locals and those traveling through needing a convenient place to grab their morning or afternoon energy boost. We also find great success when our stands are located in cities with college campuses, for both hiring and growing our customer base. We look forward to building relationships with Brescia University, Kentucky Wesleyan College, Owensboro Community and Technical College, and Western Kentucky University Owensboro. Our goal when entering a new area is to be a positive contributor within the community and allow local residents the opportunity to build friendly relationships with our employees.
Sebald said the stand will employ over 50 brew crew members. Those looking to apply can do so closer to the store opening on 7 Brew’s website.
7 Brew, a fast-growing coffee chain founded in 2017 in Rogers, Arkansas, has gained a loyal following for its speedy service, vibrant atmosphere, and extensive menu. Known for its customizable beverages, the chain offers everything from classic lattes and mochas to energy drinks, teas, and flavored sodas. Customers can also choose from a variety of sugar-free, dairy-free, and low-calorie options.
The company’s unique drive-thru model focuses on efficiency and customer interaction, with a team of “Brewistas” taking orders curbside to ensure quick service.
An official opening date for the Owensboro location has not yet been announced.
