Dinosaur Adventure is set to transform the Owensboro Convention Center into a prehistoric playground on December 21-22. The family-friendly event will feature life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, interactive exhibits, and a variety of activities designed to captivate visitors of all ages.

A Dinosaur Adventure release said attendees can expect to encounter realistic dinosaurs that move and roar, providing an immersive experience reminiscent of the Jurassic era. Children will have the opportunity to participate in fossil digs, ride dinosaur-themed scooters, navigate obstacle courses, and enjoy bounce houses. Additional attractions include gemstone mining, baby dinosaur encounters, face painting, green screen photos, and a coloring station.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on December 21 and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on December 22. Tickets are required for attendees ages 2 and above. The Adult Adventure Pass (ages 13 and up) is priced at $22 plus tax and fees, granting full access to all exhibits and interactive displays. The Child Adventure Pass (ages 2-12) costs $30 plus tax and fees and includes unlimited access to children’s activities. Certain activities, such as face painting, gemstone mining, and green screen photos, are available for an additional fee.

For those interested in souvenirs, Adventure Packs are available for purchase, starting at $29 plus tax and fees. These packs include items such as a Dinosaur Adventure drawstring backpack, a hatch-a-dinosaur egg, and a fossil dig block.

The Owensboro Convention Center is located at 1501 West 2nd Street. Strollers and wagons are welcome, and attendees are advised to bring socks for the inflatables. Re-entry is permitted on the same day, and concessions will be available on-site.
