Morning Pointe of Owensboro — formerly Heritage Place, a long-time assisted living community for seniors in Owensboro — has announced its leaders, including Karleigh Roby as its executive director.
Roby has been an associate at the assisted living community, located at 3362 Buckland Square, since February. Before stepping into operations leadership, she served in various roles under the previous owners – as admissions and marketing director, activities director, and business office manager.
“I enjoy how each resident makes an impact on my everyday life and that I can positively impact theirs too,” said Roby, who has lived in Owensboro for the last 7 years. “Morning Pointe is an amazing company. I have enjoyed their positive outlook, structure, and support.”
The rest of the leadership team at Morning Pointe of Owensboro includes:
- Director of Nursing – Jamie Barbour
- Community Relations Director – Dayna Cox
- Business Office Manager – Jennifer Bosley
- Life Enrichment Director – Ciera Taylor

Together with Roby, the team represents nearly 60 years of experience in senior care and 212 years living in the Greater Owensboro community.
Morning Pointe of Owensboro was previously Heritage Place and has been undergoing a $2.5 million renovation, which is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
“We are so glad to have these dedicated and skilled individuals leading Morning Pointe of Owensboro,” said Kendell Stratton, vice president of operations for Morning Pointe Senior Living’s Bluegrass Region. “We have assembled a strong team to lead the community, bridging the past and leading it into this exciting new phase.”
