Rain or shine, the inaugural Orchard Music Fest is scheduled for this Saturday at Reid’s Orchard, with 13 acts performing across six stages.
Reid’s Orchard is partnering with Andy and Tamarra Brasher, founders and organizers of PorchFest.
Valerie Reid said she and her brother started discussing hosting a music festival at the Orchard last year and immediately knew they wanted the Brashers to be involved.
In a sense, the setup will mimic the style that has made PorchFest a success, with multiple acts performing at the same time.
“There’s gonna be six stages throughout the orchard,” Reid said. “All the stages are in pretty close vicinity to one another, so you can walk around and see different artists and just have a good afternoon.”

The event will also include a beer garden and food trucks. Parking will cost $20 per car. The play area will also be open for the children, at an additional cost.
Reid said planning the event has gone smoothly and they are excited for Saturday.
“Having six stages and actually having another crew to help you put it together, it makes things a little easier. We’ve all worked really well together,” she said. “The Brashers are the ones who lined up the music, and we’ve been trying to get the stages together and get the grounds ready for it and figure out where everything should go. Bring the family, bring a lawn chair to move around, and have a good time.”
The Orchard is located at 4818 KY 144.
