After nearly three decades of serving the community, Ivy Trellis Floral has found a new home, doubling its space and continuing its mission of spreading joy through the gift of flowers.
The shop, originally established in 1996, was purchased a few years ago by Heath Stone and Ashley Noffsinger, who are dedicated to preserving the tradition of giving flowers.
“The language of giving flowers is important for human connection, especially in small communities,” Stone said. “It’s something we really value and want to keep alive.”
Ivy Trellis Floral offers a wide range of services, from everyday arrangements to sympathy and funeral flowers. They also provide same-day delivery within the county and city limits, ensuring that their floral creations can reach loved ones quickly.
The move to their new location in early June has significantly changed the business. Previously located on Burlew Boulevard, the shop now enjoys twice the space, a much-needed upgrade.
“We needed it,” Stone remarked during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday. “And the community has really been behind us, especially today, with so many people showing up. We definitely appreciate that support because we wouldn’t be here without them.”
Noffsinger echoed Stone’s sentiment, expressing her appreciation of the community.
“We thoroughly enjoy being a part of everyone’s milestones, both big and small, and everything in between,” Noffsinger said. “From thank-yous to apologies to congratulations, we’re just happy to be a part of those experiences.”
As Ivy Trellis Floral grows in its new location, Stone and Noffsinger remain committed to serving their community with the same care and dedication that has defined the shop for nearly 30 years.
The new location is located at 1716 Moseley Street.
