Owensboro Parks & Recreation offering a T-Ball League for children ages 3-6, divided into two age divisions and focusing on teaching the fundamentals of baseball in a fun, non-competitive environment.
Divisions are for ages 3-4 and 5-6. The season starts on September 9, with games played on Monday evenings at 5:45 p.m. or 7 p.m. at Jack C. Fisher Park. The season consists of eight regular season games, with make-up games scheduled as needed.
The registration deadline is July 25. The registration fee is $61 plus tax per child, with a $10 sibling discount for additional children registered from the same household. Each participant will receive a team T-shirt, hat, and a post-season party.
