The Skin Therapist is growing beyond Owensboro, as co-owners Lindsey Embry and Madlyn Murphy are opening a second location in Louisville on January 8.
“We recognized a significant demand for our services in the Louisville area, which presented a great opportunity for growth,” she said.
Several factors influenced their choice of Louisville as the location for expansion. Murphy said the city offers a larger customer base and a more competitive market, which aligns with their goal of reaching a wider audience. She included that Louisville is known for its vibrant healthcare and wellness industry, making it an ideal environment for its Medspa services.
“The city has a reputation for embracing innovative and cutting-edge treatments, which aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing the latest advancements in aesthetic and wellness care,” she said.
The new location will be at 3832 Taylorsville Road Suite 8.
The Owensboro location at 624 Emory Drive opened in the summer of 2021. Murphy said the success they have seen in Owensboro has been incredibly meaningful.
“It has validated our business model and the quality of our services, and it has shown us that there is a strong demand for what we offer in the community,” she said. “Seeing our Medspa thrive in Owensboro has been a source of pride and satisfaction for our team. It has been rewarding to witness the positive impact we have had on our client’s lives, helping them achieve their aesthetic and wellness goals. Knowing that we have made a difference in their confidence and overall well-being is truly fulfilling.”
In the new Medspa space in Louisville, The Skin Therapist will offer facials, Botox injections, dermal filler injections, medical weight loss management, and skincare treatments similar to the Owensboro location.
