The Owensboro Symphony will present its annual “Home for the Holidays” concert at 7 p.m. Saturday at the RiverPark Center. The holiday program will feature some traditional favorites and fresh new works, including selections from “Home Alone,” “A Christmas Carol,” and “It’s A Wonderful Life.”

Tickets start at $45 and are available at 270-684-0661, OwensboroSymphony.org, or the RiverPark Center Box Office at 101 Daviess Street. Student tickets are $12.50 each.

“There’s nothing quite like our annual holiday concert,” said Symphony CEO Gwyn Payne. “As patrons make their way into the RiverPark Center, you can sense their excitement building. By the end of the night, everyone is sure to be in the Christmas spirit.”

The concert features a performance by baritone Tevin Vincent with a special guest appearance by Jenny Beth Willis and members of the Owensboro Symphony Youth Orchestra.

“We have programmed an evening of holiday music that will delight the entire audience,” said Music Director Troy Quinn. “This is one of the area’s favorite holiday family events and I cannot wait to see everyone there.”

Concert attendees are encouraged to join Troy Quinn in Cannon Hall from 6:15-6:40 p.m. for a “Behind the Music” pre-concert conversation about the performance. New this year, Mitch Settle will join Quinn on stage as the moderator. “Behind the Music,” presented by Baird – The Settle Group, is designed to enhance the concert experience and provide insights into the music and music-makers performing on the program.

The “Home for the Holidays” premier sponsor is Commonwealth Rolled Products. Corporate partners include Atmos Energy, Riley and John Hess, and the Messenger-Inquirer.
