Anna McDonald wants to add fun and personalization to your event with her mobile photo booth setup, a small business she calls 270 Pose & Go.
McDonald said she and her husband had been to weddings and other events and enjoyed getting their picture taken by photographers, but it added a sense of formality to the photos.
“Not to take away from that, but a photo booth just kind of allows you to just have fun with it. Friends get in with family members, and so we just took a leap of faith and tried this out,” McDonald said.
The booth is run using an iPad that is stationed atop a monopod, complete with a ring light on top. A custom logo can be automatically added to the pictures taken by the iPad. Guests can have the photos sent to them immediately after they are captured, plus the pics be saved for the organizers to see after the event has concluded.
270 Pose & Go also offers a backdrop — with themes including holidays, fall festivals, and more — and a digital frame to add to the event’s theme.
McDonald said they work with the event organizers to capture the essence of the event and enhance the photo booth through the background.
Their first event was in July, and McDonald said the community has helped support the business since the beginning.
“I think it’s really great. I think this community does an amazing job supporting others. I know a lot of local business owners that live here and work here, and everybody just always does a good job of supporting one another,” McDonald said.
