Local metal band Bury the Coffin is headlining a multi-genre music festival tonight in Daviess County. The “Buried ‘Underground’ Fest” also includes performances from eight other bands.

The festival — which is only for those ages 21 and older — will be held at 5051 Ed Foster Road in Philpot. A stage will be set up, and attendees can camp in the surrounding field. The term underground means all of the bands performing are unsigned.

Gates open at 1 p.m. and there is a $20 cover charge. Guests can bring their own lawn chairs at no cost, but anyone wanting to camp in a tent will have to pay an additional $15. Burgers and hot dogs will be available, with a food plate costing $5. Parking is free.

  • 2:15-2:45 — Ruby Red
  • 3-3:40 — Knights on Holiday
