The Daviess County Public Library is holding an inaugural Handmade Crafts Fair this December, and organizers are currently searching for vendors to set up tables and sell their handmade wares.

The event will take place from 2-5 p.m. December 3, giving local artisans a space to showcase their crafts for patrons to leisurely browse.

The library is seeking a variety of vendors who create handmade crafts. Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Fabric crafts (crocheted, sewn, woven)
  • Soaps/candles
  • Woodcrafts
  • Handmade jewelry
  • Handmade buttons/stickers
  • Paintings/drawings/pastel art, etc.
  • Metalworks
  • Wreaths
  • Cakes/pastries, etc.

The deadline for booth applications is November 12.  There is no booth fee charge to participate, but an application must be completed for review. You can find that application at the library or fill it out online here.  There are a limited number of spaces available. All merchandise sold must be handcrafted/homemade. No exceptions will be made to this rule.
