List: Easter egg hunts in Daviess County

With Easter quickly approaching on April 17, we’ve started a list of local Easter egg hunts throughout the community. Here are the events we’ve got on our list so far. 

The events are listed in the order they will occur. If your organization is not listed but wants to be, contact us here with details on how people can help.

Trunnell’s Farm Market – Easter Egg Hunt
April 9 and April 16, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

$14.99 per child (12 months-17 years old) and $10.99 per adult online. Tickets at the gate will be higher than online.
Meet and greet with the Easter bunny. Photo opportunities, access to animal barnyard, jumping pillow, Easter face painting. Easter Egg Hunt – each child gets to collect 12 eggs of different colors from the hunt then return them to receive a prize pack from the Easter bunny. Spring Farm Experience included with admission.

Superior Auto – Easter Sidewalk Chalk Show
April 9, 12- 2 p.m.
4939 Frederica Street
Free
Includes prizes, food and an Easter egg hunt during the event. Showcase your artistic side and decorate a square of the parking lot. 

Owensboro Regional Recovery – Pancake Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt
April 9, Breakfast 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and hunt at 11 a.m.
4301 Veach Road
$8 per person includes breakfast, $40 for family of up to six, kids 5 and under eat free

Dugan Best Recreation Center – Easter Egg Hunt
April 15, 4-5 p.m.
1003 Omega Street
Free 
Eggs will be filled with candy and prizes. Participants, ages 8 – 12, will be broken down into three age groups. Call 270-687-8714 for more information.

Trunnell’s Farm Market – Adult Easter Egg Hunt
April 15, 6-10 p.m.

$29 for general admission, $89 for VIP tickets. Only available online.
Hunt at 7:30 p.m. and includes more than $3,500 in cash and prizes.The hunt is for adults age 21 and over and boasts a wide array of cocktails, domestic and craft beer, wine, and food options. Live entertainment. The 20-plus attractions typically reserved for children accentuate the event, ranging from the jumping pillow and pedal tractors to the ball zone. 

Kendall-Perkins Park — Easter Extravaganza
1201 W. 5th Street
April 16, 1-5 p.m.
There will be free food, an Easter basket giveaway, an Easter egg hunt, drawings for bicycles/door prizes, a live DJ, and more. Hosted by the Sheila K Foundation and the Northwest Neighborhood Alliance.

Reid’s Orchard – Easter Adventure 
April 16, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

$7 per child 
Easter bunny, scavenger hunt, egg picking, animal barnyard, activities in Reidland. Kona Ice of Owensboro & Santa’s Toys have donated prizes for the Easter egg picking; Kona Ice will be on site.

First Free Will Baptist Church
April 16, 1-3 p.m.
Easter egg hunt, coloring contest, lots of candy and prizes. Snacks and devotion also provided.
5th grade and under. This event is free and all are welcome.

Pleasant Grove Baptist Church
April 17 after each morning worship service at 8, 9:30, and 11 a.m.

For children 5th grade and below. Children will be divided by age group for each hunt. Bring your own basket to collect eggs filled with candy, prizes, and even cash.
