Registration is open for the Friday After 5 – 5K run that will take place in downtown Owensboro on the opening night of Friday After 5 on May 20.
The run will begin at 6:30 p.m. The McConnell Plaza will serve as the start/finish line. The event is being hosted in partnership with the Brescia University cross country and track & field teams.
Walkers can enjoy a 2-mile course to start at the same time as the runners.
Online Registration can be found at runsignup.com/Race/KY/Owensboro/FridayAfter55K. It includes a pre-registration goody bag for $25 for adults until May 17. On-site race day registration will be open from 4-6 p.m. for $30. Additional race T-shirts will be available on site.

We’re looking forward to our student athletes serving and engaging with our community with the Friday After 5 – 5K.”
