Jonathan Bradley “Brad” Oliver, 30, of Philpot, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018. He was born September 16, 1988 in Daviess Co., Ky. Brad graduated from Daviess Co. Schools and had dreams of becoming a chef and loved cooking. He enjoyed watching people eat and enjoy the food he had prepared. He loved golfing, fishing, hunting, especially deer hunting, and was an avid University of Louisville sports fan. Brad was a friend to everyone he met.
Brad was preceded in death by his father, Michael Oliver in December of 2005, a grandmother, Shirley Oliver in 2012, grandfather, John Mardis in 2010, and a nephew, Keaton Mathis in 2010.
Surviving are his mother and his 2nd father, Debbie and Bill Boom of Philpot, grandmother, Dorothy Mardis O’Flynn of Owensboro, two brothers, Christopher Oliver of Philpot and Brandon Boom of Henderson, two sisters, Kristin Mathis of Henderson and Summer Oliver of Utica, an aunt, Debbie Blandford of Owensboro, and several great aunts and uncles, cousins, and a niece.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 22, at Blessed Mother Catholic Church with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
