Christine “Chris” Sue Rynerson Schneider, loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully August 30, 2021 at the age of 72. Chris was born on September 25, 1948, to the late Arthur “Carl” Rynerson and Vivian “Lorraine” Adkins in Altadena, California.
She is survived by her husband, John T. Schneider; sister, Cathy Pearson; daughters and their spouses; Kirsten and Jeff Proulx and Charity and Garry Mattingly; stepchildren, Anthony Schneider, John R. Schneider, Korrina Dietrich, and Marie Schneider; and numerous grandchildren.
Chris was a beautiful and vibrant wife, mother, daughter, and sister that loved to laugh. She was raised in Madera California with her older sister, Cathy, where she worked on the family farm, starting her lifelong love of horses, the outdoors, and her amazing work ethic. Chris was adventurous with a self-described “gypsy soul” and enjoyed following John across the nation with his career. She made friends easily and found her way into the hearts of others everywhere. Chris shared her passion for horses and life with her children, giving them special lifelong memories. She always supported her children’s’ dreams, no matter how big, while also teaching them the value of hard work. Chris put her heart and soul into everything she did and left her mark by completing insurmountable tasks that left others astounded. She will be missed more than words can express. Chris never wanted us to grieve, “just get together and celebrate me”.
