Following its first loss of the season against Elizabethtown, Daviess County boys soccer bounced back by defeating Greenwood to move to 3-1 on the season.
The Panthers took charge early in the contest, as Dax Sandifer rebounded the ball following a shot and scored to put them up 1-0 in the 17th minute.
10 minutes later Tyler Wilkerson put them up 2-0 to swing momentum completely their way going into halftime.
Carter Payne, who was added to the varsity roster because of injuries, sealed the deal for Daviess County in the second, scoring the lone goal in the 76th minute.
The Panthers now sit at 3-1 on the young season and will return home to take on a 2-2 Apollo team at 7 p.m on Thursday.
