The 12u Owensboro Eastern All-Stars stayed hot and dominated Palm Beach Gardens offensively, grabbing an 11-0 victory to move to 4-0 in pool play.
Dremail Carothers got the start on the mound for Owensboro and set the tone, tossing three innings while allowing just one hit and striking out four.
Eastern’s bullpen held things down for the remainder of the game, while their offense turned things on.
Peyton Isbell, Ty Lillpop, Jayden James and Gunnar Hendricks all tallied doubles for Owensboro, while they all tore up the basepaths as well with multiple stolen bases.
With a perfect display defensively backed by great pitching and an offensive outpouring all game long, Eastern walked away shutting out the Cal Ripken World Series host team 11-0.
Now Owensboro Eastern will turn its focus to bracket play, as they own the No. 3 seed and will take on Casselton, North Dakota at 4 p.m.
