After a decision to hold the August edition of Rooster Booster outside under the rising sun, Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Candance Brake said she’s thankful for the help of the Owensboro Convention Center.
The event began as always at 7:30 a.m., however it was held behind the Convention Center on The Kentucky Legend Pier. Instead of the usual service breakfast table, guests walked out of the meeting with a box of breakfast food.
“I do want to thank the Convention Center staff again for making this possible. They’re always willing to think of new ways of doing things and we appreciate them,” Brake said.
This event included speakers Jaclyn Graves and Jason Bellamy, the CEO and President of GO REALTORS, respectively; and Darrin Horn, head coach of Northern Kentucky University’s men’s basketball team.
