The Green Valley Beekeepers Association will be hosting a free beginner’s beekeeping class on from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the Daviess County Extension Service at 4800A New Hartford Road on the campus of Owensboro Community & Technical College.  The class will be taught by GVBA director and advanced beekeeper Steve Hahus.

The class will be primarily for new or soon-to-be beekeepers and will discuss how to successfully make it through the first year in beekeeping, but anyone who feels that they can benefit from a refresher course is welcome.

Due to the limited capacity of the meeting room, GVBA officials ask that anyone interested in attending reserve a seat by visiting GreenValleyBeekeepers.org.
