The first Firestone Complete Auto Care is scheduled to open at 2400 Patriot Run near Meijer by the end of 2020.
“We are pleased to confirm that a Firestone Complete Auto Care store will be constructed in Owensboro,” said Leslie Boehms, communications manager at Bridgestone Americas.
The land sold for $700,000, and construction began at the end of February. The construction costs is $1.2 million and the building will be 6,475 square feet.
“This is our first location in the Owensboro community and we are delighted to be able to serve customers in the area,” Boehms said. “We are still in the early stages of this project but anticipate construction will be completed in the fourth quarter of this year.”
Bridgestone operates the largest network of company-owned tire and automotive centers in the world with more than 2,200 locations nationwide.
