This week’s Owensboro Times basketball honors go to Daviess County’s Bo Stratton and Owensboro’s Tamia Smith after each received the most votes in their respective weekly poll.
Stratton, a junior for the Panthers, is the Boys’ Player of the Week after averaging seven points in two games.
Smith, a junior for the Lady Devils, is the Girls’ Player of the Week after averaging 10.3 points in three games.
Note: Next week’s Basketball Player of the Week polls will open Monday morning and run through Wednesday at 5 p.m. This week’s winners will not be eligible for nomination.
