William Lewis Smith, the inmate who walked away from a work detail site Wednesday afternoon has been arrested.
“He was found along the wood line (bordering the Ohio River), so I’d guess he was trying to get over to Indiana,” Daviess County Jailer Art Maglinger said. “But he was found in that wood line and was arrested without incident.”
