The City of Owensboro has mailed property tax bills, which are due Nov. 1. Bills can be paid via cash, check or credit card at City Hall, Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. City Hall will be closed Nov. 28 and 29 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The City reminds citizens that due to the Thanksgiving Holiday closure, the last day to walk-in or call City Hall to pay your property tax bill without penalty or interest will be Wednesday, November 27 by 5 p.m. Payments via credit card can also be made online at the City’s website: www.owensboro.org. Credit card payments are subject to a 2.5% processing fee. Penalty and interest will be added Dec. 1 to any bills unpaid.
