THAW, HEAD LEAD OHS TO ROAD VICTORY
Hser Thaw scored three goals and Josh Head finished with one of his own to go along with four assists as Owensboro rolled to a 5-1 victory at North Hardin. The Red Devils (6-3-1) won their third game in a row.
Thaw, Paxton Jenkins and Head each scored a goal on the way to a 3-0 halftime lead. Another pair of goals by Thaw surrounded the only score by North Hardin in the second half.
Andrew Saltsman had an assist. Radley Worth had eight saves in goal and Jacob O’Bryan added one.
The Red Devils are back in action Thursday when they host Apollo. Owensboro won the first meeting 2-1.
EVEN ATTACK LEADS PANTHERS TO HOME WIN
A pair of goals in each half helped Daviess County stay undefeated as they topped Bowling Green 4-2 for a home win.
The Panthers (6-0-2) got on the board less than two minutes in with a score from Hunter Clark. Carson Thomas found the net midway through the half and DC took a 2-1 lead into the break.
Another pair of goals came five minutes apart in the second half. Jacob Boling scored after a cross from Clark, and Hayden Boswell knocked one in with an assist from Carter Hoagland.
Daviess County will make a short trip Wednesday to play at Owensboro Catholic in a 9th District game.
