A traffic accident left one person injured on Friday in the 4800 block of Frederica St. at 1:15 p.m. Drivers Michael J. Moore, 34, of the 2100 block of E. Booth St. and Gerardo L. Lopez, 24, of the 1700 block of Todd Ct. were involved in the accident. Lopez was injured and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
Two counts of first-degree robbery and one count of first-degree wanton endangerment were reported Thursday at the corner of W. 10th St. and Omega St. A Samsung J3 and a pair of glasses were reported stolen at a value of $260.
A theft by unlawful taking (firearm) and a theft by unlawful taking (contents stolen from inside a vehicle) were reported Friday in the 600 block of Ewing Rd. A portable gas can and firearm were reported stolen at a value of $574.
In the 1500 block of Roosevelt Rd. on Friday, a theft of a motor vehicle registration plate was reported.
In the 1400 block of Sweeney St. on Friday, a second-degree burglary was reported. Power tools were reported stolen at a value of $11,100.
A theft by unlawful taking $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Friday in the 700 block of Clay St. A smartphone was reported stolen at a value of $700.
