Patricia "Pat" Faye Leach

Patricia “Pat” Faye Leach, born on January 23, 1934, to the late Edward Thomas and Mary Ida Merimee in Owensboro, KY passed away at the age of 85 on June 28, 2019, in Evansville, IN. Pat was the loving wife of the late Maxwell Leach. The couple married on Sept. 2, 1955, and shared 35 years of marriage before Max passed away in May of 1990. Including her husband and parents she was also proceeded in death by four sisters, and three brothers.

She is survived by her sons, Maxwell Mark Leach (Brenda Moseley), and Steve (Angel) Leach; daughters, Lynn (Mike) Wilkerson and Becky Leach; 13 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Pat was an avid bowler and served as the Secretary of the Local Women’s Bowling Association from 1962 to 2015. She was a devote Catholic and longtime member of Immaculate Catholic Church. She committed her life to Christ and her faith was unquestionable. Her light will continue to shine bright for years to follow, as the impact she made on this Earth will continue to magnify.

Services will be at 12 noon on Monday at Immaculate Catholic Church with Father Tony Jones officiating. Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:30 to 8:00 pm at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory and after 10 am Monday at the church.

The family invites donations in Patricia’s name to Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
