Glenda Carol Taylor, 71, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born August 22, 1953 in Owensboro to the late Charles and Eva Belle McLimore Statts. Glenda retired from Mercy Hospital. She enjoyed working puzzles, gardening and planting flowers. But most of all, Glenda loved spending time with her family and grandbabies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Everett, David, Eugene, Sheila, Richard, Gary, and Billy.
She is survived by three daughters, Belinda Fentress, Erica Fentress, and Carla Swanagan; seven grandchildren, Whitney, Blue, Skyler, Odessa, Breeana, Ricky, and Ciara; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Mike Statts, Larry Statts, and Charlie Statts; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
