Erie Lee Anderson, 62, of Owensboro, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025. Born on June 5, 1962, in Daviess County, he was the son of the late Robert and Bertha Anderson.
After graduating high school, Erie proudly served his country as a United States Marine, a commitment that reflected his lifelong dedication to helping others. A hardworking and hands-on man, Erie loved spending time outdoors—whether he was building something new, tinkering with cars, or lending a hand to a neighbor in need. He had a true gift for working with his hands and a heart for service.
Erie was a devoted family man who cherished time spent with his loved ones. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering support made him a constant source of strength for his family and friends. He was a faithful member of Bethel Outreach Ministry and formerly worshipped at Chapel Worship Assembly.
In addition to his parents, Erie was preceded in death by his son, Lucas Anderson, and siblings, Bobby Anderson, David Anderson, Candy Anderson, and Joyce Mohler.
Those left to cherish his memories is his son, Daniel Anderson; siblings, Pat Weaver, Athena Aubrey, John (Jo Ella) Anderson, and Lois (Jerry) Williams; three grandchildren; as well as many other loving family and friends.
