Emogene Lee Greer 97, of Calhoun, Kentucky passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Emogene Greer was born February 7, 1928 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Delbert Thomas and Hettie Terry Greer.
Emogene earlier worked at the Cigar Factory in Owensboro and retired as a custodian from Calhoun Elementary School. She was a member of the Baptist Faith, attending Buck Creek, Pleasant Hope, Beulah, and Mt. Vernon Baptist Churches.
Emogene enjoyed caring for her flowers, watching the birds, and cooking for her family.
Emogene is survived by a daughter, Judy Stratton (Jim) of Calhoun; three sons, Ricky Lee (Kathy) of Paducah, Donnie Lee of Utica, and Terry Lee (Kim) of Hanson; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Jamie Pratt of Calhoun.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hope Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Emogene’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Musters in Calhoun.
