GREENVILLE—Howard Keith Hawkins, 56, of Greenville, KY died on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio, on May 21, 1968, the son of Eff Hawkins, Jr. and Costella (Cat) Bard Hawkins. He was of the Christian faith. He worked for the Food Giant Industry for 25 years and retired as the manager of the Food Giant store in Guthrie in 2010. He loved to fish, play pool, and spend time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Michael Douglas Hawkins, Anthony Lee Hawkins, and Jeffrey Allen Hawkins.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 8 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville with Pastor Karl Anderson officiating. Gary’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Tamala Grace Hawkins of Greenville, KY; five sons, Justin Hawkins of Greenville, KY, Allen Hawkins (Sarah) Hawkins of Greenville, KY, William (Makalia) Hawkins, of Greenville, KY, Tim (Brittany) Diaz of Greenville, KY, Jaxson Fulkerson of Greenville, KY; two daughters, Carrie Hawkins of Greenville, KY, Cassie Martinez of Greenville, KY; eight grandchildren, Brilee Daniel, McKinlee Daniel, Jaylee Daniel, Emma Martinez, Meredith Duff, William Hawkins, Jr., Ezekiel Hawkins, Peighton Hawkins; three brothers, Edwin (Kandi) Hawkins of Greenville, KY, Emmitt (Myra) Hawkins of Lehigh Acres, FL, Timothy (Kathy) Hawkins of Greenville, KY; one sister, Gail (Karl) Anderson of Owensboro, KY.
There will be no visitation.
