GREENVILLE – Levi Wyatt Brooks, 3 months, traded his worldly body for his perfect body on Tuesday, April,1 2025 surrounded by his family and cuddled tightly by his mom, dad, and big brother at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Levi brought a bright light into this world on December 7, 2024. He was born as a fighter due to a Congenital Heart Defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He may have only had half a heart, but the love he knew made up for the other half. He had an infectious smile that could brighten anyone’s day and was always a happy little snuggler. He loved watching his dancing fruit, being held, cuddling with his mama, and watching everything going on around him. He was affectionately known as Mr. Man, Mama’s Stinky Boy, Bug, Tater Tot, Little Rooster, Pup 2.0, and Toot by those that loved him. Levi was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Darlene Gossett; great-grandfathers, Martin Will, and Bernard Nelson Peterson I.

He is survived by his loving parents Jacob and Calista Brooks of Greenville; big brother, Noah Chaney of Greenville; grandparents, James and Ronda Brooks of Central City, Stacey Peterson of Powderly, Bernard Nelson Peterson II and Amy Peterson of Rockport, IN; great-grandparents, Ronnie Gossett of Central City, Jackie and Evelyn Brooks of Graham, and Eva Peterson of Grafton, WV; aunt and uncles, Alexandra and Taylor Phipps of Hopkinsville, Jacob Powers of Powderly, and Zachary Peterson of Rockport, IN; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins that loved him dearly.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 12PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Kevin Reed officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10AM-12PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
