Owensboro Catholic went 1-1 in their double-header, while Owensboro and Trinity (Whitesville) both lost.

Greenup County 11, Owensboro 1

The Lady Devils finished 1-3 with an RBI in their 11-1 loss to Greenup County. Taylor Sowders, Kaysi Burden, and Elli Embry had the other three hits. Alyssa Rhineburger gave up four earned runs over four innings, while Braylee Criss pitched the last 1 1/3 innings.

Owensboro Catholic 12, Fern Creek 2

Tyranda Stuart, Lily Logsdon, and Hannah Tignor combined for 9 hits and five RBIs in the Lady Aces 12-2 win over Fern Creek. Harper Lantham, Hannah Robbins, and Carley Brey each had two RBIs, while Maren Riney also drove in a run. Railey Scott started in the circle, allowing two earned runs over four innings, while Robbins pitched a scoreless fifth inning.

Talawanda 1, Owensboro Catholic 0

The Lady Aces weren’t able to capitalize on their opportunities, losing to Talwanda 1-0. Lily Logsdon, Tyranda Stuart, Maren Riney, and Carley Brey had the team’s four hits, while Harper Lantham drew a walk. Hannah Robbins was dominant in the circle, allowing one earned run over six innings, striking out seven.

Oldham County 4, Trinity (Whitesville) 2

The Lady Raiders gave up two runs in the top of the seventh and weren’t able to respond, falling to Oldham County 4-2. Sophie Hatfield and Kendall Howard both drove in runs, while Sarah Payne, Madison McDaniel, and Aubree McKinney had three of the team’s four hits. Hatfield threw a complete game, allowing four earned runs over seven innings, striking out seven.
