The Eagles scored nine runs in the third inning in their 15-0 win over McLean County. J Carder and Ryleigh Logan both homered and combined for six RBIs, while Grayson Smith, Sam Holder, and Garrett Lanham each drove in two runs. On the mound, Smith threw three shutout innings and allowing only one hit and striking out five.
For the Cougars, Hayden Hudson had the team’s lone hit.
Hancock County 7, Trinity (Whitesville) 6
Trailing 5-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Hornets scored three runs to walk off Trinity (Whitesville) 7-6. Dec Lewko went 3-4 with an RBI, while Jacob Shultz and Carson Clark both had two hits. Porter Hay, Dylan Mucker, and Noah Keown all drove in runs. Nolan Maxwell started for Hancock County, allowing four earned runs over three innings, while Shultz allowed two runs over four innings in relief.
For the Raiders, Connor Hatfield went 2-4 with four RBIs, while Isaac Hernandez also drove in a run. Harrison Barnett started on the mound, while Cale Boarman and Kayin Howard pitched out of the bullpen.

The Panthers’ offense couldn’t find their groove, recording only three hits in their 2-1 loss to Bowling Green. The Aces worked out of a jam in the seventh inning to beat Greenwood 6-5. Barrett Evans went 1-2 with three RBIs, while Parker Heistand and Reece Sims both drove in runs. Luke Quinn started on the mound, allowing three runs over four innings. Gentry Atwell and Myles Grant pitched out of the bullpen, combining for seven strikeouts.
