Owensboro Catholic beat Breckinridge County in extra innings, while Hancock County fell on the road.

The Hornets fell behind 2-0 early and never recovered, losing to Henderson County 12-2. Dec Lewko had the team’s lone hit and drove in a run, while Jack Roberts drew a walk. Lewko was the starting pitcher, allowing five earned runs over 3 1/3 innings, with four strikeouts. Grant Smith pitched out of the bullpen, allowing two earned runs.
Owensboro Catholic 4, Breckinridge County 2
Tied 2-2 in extra innings, the Aces scored twice in the top of the eighth to beat Breckinridge County 4-2. Jaxson White drove in a run, and then Kees Burcham scored on a passed ball to pad the lead. White finished 2-4 with three RBIs, while M Moser went 2-5. On the mound, Lane Hundley went five innings, allowing two runs, while striking out three. White entered in relief, throwing two shutout innings to close it out.
