Mary Ann O’Bryan Wedding, 72, of Owensboro, passed away on March 22, 2025. She was born on November 12, 1952, to the late Richard Lamar O’Bryan Jr. and Roberta Walden O’Bryan. Mary Ann was 1971 graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School and a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church.
Mary Ann will be remembered as a truly one-of-a-kind person, loving, generous, and full of life. Her infectious laughter and warm spirit made everyone feel like a friend. A devoted animal lover, Mary Ann cherished her pet birds and Shelties, who brought her great joy. She had a special knack for hosting memorable holiday gatherings and always enjoyed being surrounded by the company of her dear friends and family.
Along with her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her brothers, William Michael “Mike” O’Bryan and Richard “Dickey” Lamar O’Bryan III.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Ashley (Brian) Watson and Nicholas (Brandi) Wedding; grandchildren, Lucas Hood, Adam Wedding, Ben Watson and Katie Watson; brother, Paul David (Helen) O’Bryan; sister-in-law, Freda O’Bryan, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life gathering will be planned at a later date.
