An overnight house fire is under investigation, according to the Daviess County Fire Department. No injuries were reported.
Authorities said that at approximately 9:14 p.m. on Saturday, DCFD, Thruston-Philpot Fire Department, and Whitesville Fire Department responded to reports of a structure fire in the 6100 block of KY 54. Upon arrival, DCFD Unit 331 reported heavy fire coming from the front of the structure.
Multiple preconnected hose lines were deployed to extinguish the fire and a search of the residence was completed, authorities said, with no injuries reported. Crews were on scene for approximately 2 hours to extinguish the fire.
The origin and cause of the fire are under investigation at this time.
