A portion of KY 56 in Sorgho will be closed overnight. Approximately five utility poles that were down along KY 56 due to the storm led to a single-vehicle accident, according to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office. Crews are on scene but the roadway will be closed until at least Thursday morning. A detour has been set up.
According to DCSO, the accident is between Hayden Bridge Road and Old Lyddane Bridge Road.
The Daviess County Fire Department, Kenergy and the Airport-Sorgho Fire Department are all assisting on the scene.
