Mary Lou Dockery, 61, of Owensboro, Mary Lou, affectionately known as “Lou Lou,” passed away peacefully Thursday night, March 13, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was born on May 19, 1963, to the late Fredrick and Martha Cook.
Lou Lou was a woman with an incredible heart, who loved fearlessly and without reservation. Her love for others knew no bounds, and she touched countless lives with her kindness and warmth.
A passionate fan of wrestling, Lou Lou was often seen at WWA wrestling events, where her spirit and enthusiasm shone brightly. But it wasn’t just her love for wrestling that made her stand out; it was her devotion to her family. Mary Lou adopted all her nieces and nephews, embracing them as her own children, and extended the same unconditional love to her great nieces, nephews and many others.
Her heart was vast, and her impact will never be forgotten. Words cannot fully express the sadness we feel in her passing, but we find comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved father, mother, and sister—whom she loved so deeply.
May your soul soar, Lou Lou. You will forever be loved, missed, and remembered.
