Deborah Lynn Poole, 64, of Cleaton, passed away on March 4, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born to the late Darrel and Betty Dockery on December 25, 1960, in Daviess County. Deborah loved her family deeply, cherishing moments spent with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR, always rooting for Jimmy Johnson. In her younger years, she enjoyed singing and strumming on her guitar.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life partner, David Poole, Sr.; daughter, Cassie Poole; stepson, James Allen Poole; and brother, Jimmy Dockery.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children, David Earl (Irene) Poole, Jr., Tony Ray (Mindy) Poole, Tina (Dewayne) Hamlin, and David William Poole; siblings, Tammy Dockery, Sheila Dockery, and Kelly Dockery; 16 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; as well as many other loving family and friends.
A celebration of life to honor Deborah will be held on March 29, 2025, beginning at 11 a.m. at Stanley Baptist Church, 351 Church St., Owensboro, KY 42301, with a meal following. Family and friends are welcome to attend and share their memories.
