Donald Wayne Corley, age 78 of Hardinsburg, KY, passed away March 3, 2025, at Baptist Health Hardin. He was born in Breckinridge County on August 18, 1946, son of the late Monroe and Anna Mae Henning Corley. Don retired from Commonwealth Aluminum and was a member of Lone Star Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and visiting the casinos.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Troy Corley.
Don is survived by his fiancée Donna S. Howard of Hardinsburg, KY

Donna’s children: Brian Simpson of Atlanta, GA and his daughters Peyton and AJ; Jeffrey Simpson of Raleigh, NC and his son Zayne; Holly Simpson of Tell City, IN.
10 cousins and their families: Jim Corley, Ricky Corley, Anna Sue Brown, Sharon Chain, Judy Faye Corley, Karen Burden and Janice Smiley of Cloverport, KY; Linda Collard of Owensboro, KY; Ruth Corley of Hardinsburg, KY and Terry Decker of Hawesville, KY.
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 1 PM with burial in the Ivy Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Saturday. All times are central.
