Edwina W. Wiley, 98, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on May 18, 1926 in Daviess County to the late Catherine and Reamus Rowan Watts. Edwina was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral and worked at General Electric. She loved flowers and watching birds.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Wiley; sons, Ricky Dean Sinnett and James Larry Sinnett; and siblings, Mary Lamonine Hipple, Wilma Uswa, Betty Buchanan, Bobby Watts, Francis Chloe Martin and Bill Watts.
Survivors include two daughter, Edna Jane Morton of Owensboro and Linda Faye Burch Whitesville; two sons, William Rowan Sinnett of Knottsville and Scottie Ray Sinnett of Pellville; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Reamus R. Watts, Jr., Earl Eugene Watts, and Doris Ann Embry; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025 at St. Stephen Cathedral. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation is from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory.
