The Lanham Brothers Jamboree is set to return for its spring show on March 8 at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum, promising another night of music, comedy, and audience participation.

The show, led by brothers Barry and Randy Lanham, has been a staple of Kentucky entertainment for 19 years, blending bluegrass, country, gospel, and clogging into a family-friendly variety performance. After launching a spring edition last year in response to audience demand, the Lanhams are bringing it back for a second time.

“We’re thrilled to be back at the Hall of Fame and Museum,” Barry said. “The venue is state-of-the-art, and their team is excellent to work with—from lighting and sound to ticket sales and seating assistance.”

Each show offers a unique lineup of talent, and this year’s spring performance will feature several new and returning acts. One of the highlights will be Rick Faris, an Owensboro-based luthier who crafts instruments and is an accomplished musician and singer.

“Rick is bringing something really unique to the show,” Barry said. “We’ve never had him on before, and we’re excited for what he’ll add.”

Other performers include young fiddler McKenzie Bell, crowd favorite Wayne Morris, and vocalists Lucy Jagoe Chaney and Emmy Kate Williams. The Foot Stompin’ Express Cloggers will once again showcase Kentucky’s state dance.

The Jamboree is also recorded for KET, offering audience members a chance to see themselves on television. Audience participation remains a key element of the show, often leading to spontaneous and lighthearted moments.

“You never know when you’ll be part of the show,” Barry said. “People will tell me it’s someone’s birthday or anniversary, and we have a little fun with them on stage. It’s all in good fun.”

The Lanham Brothers Jamboree is known for its relaxed, humorous atmosphere, with the brothers’ banter serving as a signature part of the experience.

“We have a great time up there,” Barry said. “It’s a very Kentucky-style show, full of music, dancing, and comedy. It’s a tradition we love to share.”

With only one spring performance, Barry expects tickets to go quickly.

The show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are available through the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum.
