The Owensboro Times is spicing things up with OT Wings Week, sponsored by Barrel Heads and Take 10 Market, and we want to know your favorite spots for wings in town.
Our team ventured across Owensboro-Daviess County to sample the options from several establishments – some known for their wings, others offering surprising contenders. Local football players and student-athletes from Apollo, Daviess County, Owensboro Catholic, Owensboro, and Trinity high schools, as well as Kentucky Wesleyan College, joined OT staff for some of the tastings, sharing their thoughts on the wings and the Big Game set for Sunday.
Each day this week, we’ll release a video showcasing the featured restaurants and our interactions with the athletes. They’ll weigh in on the wings and give their Big Game predictions.
Voting will be open from Wednesday to Friday, with the winning restaurant crowned on Sunday, February 9, ahead of the Big Game. Our goal is to highlight local spots serving up delicious wings and to help the community find the best wing deals before kickoff.
