Daviess County and Hancock County both won at home, while Owensboro Catholic won on the road.

Daviess County 57, McCracken County 29

A night after losing a tough one to Owensboro Catholic, the Lady Panthers bounced back with a big 57-29 win over McCracken County. Kennedy Lane led the way with 21 points, five rebounds, and three steals, while Zoey Beehn recorded a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds. She also led the team in steals with four.

“Our defense was the key tonight,” Daviess County head coach Natalie Payne said. “We were clicking on all cylinders with our rotations, which allowed us to get out in transition.”

Hancock County 62, Southern 18

It was a dominant performance for the Lady Hornets, cruising to a 62-18 win over Southern. Carolina Jones led all scorers with a career-high 30 points and added five rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Ansley House recorded 16 points and eight assists, while Izzy Ross and Ansley Chappell combined for 12 deflections.

“I’m proud of how the girls came out of the gate today,” Hancock County head coach Kevin Husk said. “They really got after it defensively and our rotations and communications were much improved. Everyone came to play today.”

Owensboro Catholic 96, Old Oldham 11

It was a balanced team effort as 11 different Lady Aces scored in their 96-11 win over Old Oldham. Karmin Riley and Aubrey Randolph combined for 31 points, while Allie Marston (13) and Claudia Munsey (11) both finished in double-digits.
