Braxton Scott Criss, age 18 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away January 28, 2025, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. He was born in Leitchfield, KY on June 21, 2006. Braxton was employed at Save-A-Lot as a cashier – he was easy to spot as he always had the biggest smile. He was a member of First Baptist Church and the Youth Choir. Braxton was a student at Breckinridge County High School and Vocational School and recently received his diploma. He enjoyed watching his siblings play sports – especially basketball, baseball and wrestling. He spent hours texting his friends and playing video games. He had the biggest heart and always wanted the best for his family and friends.
Braxton is survived by his parents: Wesley and Marrisa Criss of Owensboro, KY and Ashley Brown and Jon McCarty of Hardinsburg, KY

Great grandparents: Melvin and Marilyn Rhodes of Cannelton, IN
9 brothers and sisters: Bayleigh, Lexi, Chloe, Matt, Braylee, Ella, Charlee and Roman Criss and Avery McCarty
Godparents: Brooke and Roxie Surrell and Adrian Mucker
Funeral services will be held at Restoration’s Church in Hardinsburg, KY on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 2PM with burial in the Hardinsburg Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Saturday at the church. All times are central.
