The Kentucky Career Center will host a Rebuild and Rehire Career & Resource Fair on Thursday, aiming to promote inclusive hiring practices and provide job seekers with essential resources.
The fair will run from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at Unity Fellowship Church, 625 Allen St. The event is free and open to the public.
“The Rebuild and Rehire Fair offers businesses an outstanding opportunity to connect with skilled local talent, including those seeking second chances, while promoting fair chance hiring practices to strengthen our community’s workforce,” said Melissa Roberts with the Kentucky Career Center.
Roberts said Feed a Friend will be serving to-go meals, available while supplies last. Additionally, thanks to a donation drive led by the Kentucky Career Center staff, blankets will be distributed to job seekers at the event while supplies last.
