The Cottage Farm Stand’s annual Strawberry Festival is set to return June 7-8, offering a weekend of family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and fresh strawberries.
The festival will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with organizers saying the event will feature more than 150 vendors, multiple food trucks, and a variety of entertainment options. This year’s event will also include a car show with multiple categories and prizes.
“This will be our fourth year hosting the Strawberry Festival, and we’re anticipating another great turnout,” said event organizer and The Cottage Farm Stand owner Marlene Knight. “Last year, we had more than 7,500 people attend, and we’re excited to continue growing.”
Festivalgoers can enjoy pony rides, a petting zoo, and “Truck Town,” an interactive display of large trucks and farm equipment. Children’s activities include inflatables, face painting, a giant bubble area, and a treasure dig.
Live entertainment will be featured throughout the weekend, with performances from Annabel Whitledge, Cam Thompson, Dakota Hayden, Maggie Hollis, and The Lowland Rambler.
Knight said the festival aims to create a “big church picnic atmosphere” that is affordable for families. Admission is $5 per vehicle, with most activities included at no additional cost.
“We want to give families a fun, budget-friendly way to enjoy a day out,” Knight said. “We also focus on supporting local businesses, showing that you don’t have to travel to Nashville to find unique, high-quality items.”
Vendor applications are currently being accepted, with details available on The Cottage Farm Stand’s website at cottagefarmstand.com and its Facebook page. Knight urged vendors to use official channels to avoid scams, which have targeted festival participants in the past.
The Cottage Farm Stand has been temporarily closed for renovations but will reopen on Feb. 7 with expanded catering services. The venue is located at 6869 KY 56.
