
GREENVILLE– Brenda Sue Hart Rudolph passed away January 26, 2025. She was born on March 4, 1942, in Tennyson, IN, to Bernice Foster Hart and Lenos Hart. Brenda met the love of her life, Gerrill/Butch “Rudy” Rudolph at Boonville High School. In 1960, Brenda & Butch married then moved to Greenville, KY, for his job with Sinclair Mines. Brenda’s interests spanned membership in Eastern Star, singing in the church choir, sewing for her family, and league bowling. She was a receptionist at Pennyroyal Mental Health for many years. After retiring, she started a new bookkeeping & seamstress career as “Miss Brenda” at Encore Dance.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Butch Rudolph; brother Carl Ralston; son Bryan (Susan) Rudolph; daughters Melinda Rudolph and Melanie (Joe) Boggess; grandchildren Andrew (Angie) Kunkel, Allyre Kunkel, Jacob (Emma) Hinton, Will (Kaitlyn) Hinton, Abbey Hinton, Kelsie (Cody) Barrett, 2d Lt Meghan (2d Lt Ian) Keller, Maria Boggess; great grandchildren Logan Kunkel, Luke Kunkel, Landon Kunkel, Amey Sue (Nolan) Putnam, Kaylee Lincoln, Riley Lincoln, Henry Barrett, and Ada Hinton.
Brenda is preceded in death by her daughter Melissa Rudolph Kunkel, parents Bernice and Lenos Hart, brothers Reathel (Rip) Byers, Lt Col Lynn Ralston, Jim Ralston, Harold Hart, and sister Charlotte Hart.
In accordance with her wishes, arrangements will be private.
